What type of events do you typically photograph?

My favorite event to photograph has always been weddings, there is just no comparison to the joy and excitement that is felt all around them. I also do other events as well, such as bridal and baby showers, concerts and band photography, and corporate events. 

What are your rates?

For weddings and events, I charge $150 an hour for one photographer and $200 an hour for two photographers, due to the extra work involved during the shoot and the increased number of photos that need to be edited.

Do we receive all of the images you capture?

You receive about 99% of the photos that we shoot. We eliminate any duplicate images, test shots, and missed focused shots. Other than that, you receive every photo we’ve taken throughout the shoot.

How many images will I receive?

Depending on the wedding or event, you can receive anywhere from 50-200 images for each hour we shoot. 

How will I receive my images?

Every image you receive goes through the post-production process. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections. Many photographers will not post-produce any images, or will only post-produce “select” images. I believe that you want every photo you receive to be at its best, so I touch each and every photo. On top of that, for weddings, you will also receive a full color, as well as black and white, copies of select images.

Each of our packages comes with a full resolution image download. However, we typically do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from our shoots because we only want to deliver a fully finished product. Although, if you do require certain RAW files for certain images, I am completely willing to accommodate. 

Can we provide a shot list or a must take picture list?

Yes of course! It’s very helpful to know exactly what your style is and I am willing to accommodate. If there’s a specific picture that you’d like to emulate, let me know!

How long does it take to get my pictures back?
          For weddings and events, you’ll receive your photos within 7-14 days.

What rights do we have to digital prints?

You retain the rights to all of your images, so you can download, print, and share the photos as many times as you like. Although, I retain the copyright to the images and reserve the right to use them for promotional purposes, competition, professional review, and so on. If you wish that specific photos are not used for these purposes, all you need to do is ask!

What if I lose my images?

If you lose your images, just let me know. I keep all images indefinitely and they are backed up several times over multiple hard drives. I never charge a fee to resend images.

How does payment work?

For weddings and events, I require the initial deposit be made at the time of booking to reserve your date, and then we can work out a timeline that works best for you, as long as the payment is made in full by the end of your event. Please keep in mind that deposits are non-refundable. If you choose to change your date, you can use the same deposit. Unfortunately, if I am already booked, I will be unable to return your deposit if you choose to go with another vendor.

For all bookings, I can accept payment as cash or any major credit card at the time of service, although, I do charge a 3% credit service fee. 

What happens if we exceed contracted time for coverage?

We understand that not everything goes as planned during a wedding or event. I promise we will never just pack up and leave your event, instead we will ask you (or another designated person) at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like us to stay, we will charge you the same rate, rounded to the closest 30-minute increment.

Do we need to feed you at the wedding reception or event?

No, I don’t require to be fed, although it is much appreciated.

Can friends and family also take photos?

Of course! Take as many photos as you want! Their excitement does not make more work for me.

Are you photographing other weddings or events on the same day as mine?

No. Once your wedding date is secured it is blocked out for any other events so that my full attention is on your wedding or event.

How far will you travel for a wedding or event?

This depends on the shoot. For portraits, typically less than an hour outside of the Buffalo area. For weddings and events, I’ve driven much farther. Feel free to contact me and I can let you know. Luckily, I never charge a travel fee, so if you’re willing to go the distance, so am I.


Do you work with any other vendors for events or weddings?

Yes! If you need assistance in planning your event, we can help! We can recommend caterers, DJs, musicians, officiants, bakers, and other vendors.
